Prep in Steel, Not in Plastic
The mixing bowl touches everything you bake, usually while it's warm, acidic or oily — exactly when plastic behaves worst. Our bowls are 304 stainless steel with tempered glass lids, so you can whisk, proof, cover and store in the same bowl.
- 304 (18/8) stainless steel
- Tempered glass lids
- Platinum silicone seals
- Mix, cover & store in one bowl
- No plastic, inside or out
Why steel prep wins
Batters are acidic, doughs are oily, and both sit in the bowl for hours.
Prep & baking, answered
What sizes come in the bowl set?
Five bowls: 1, 2, 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5 quarts, each with its own glass lid. They nest into one stack, so five bowls take the cabinet space of one.
What steel are the bowls made of?
304 stainless, also called 18/8: 18% chromium and 8% nickel. It's the standard for quality food equipment because it doesn't rust, pit or react with acidic ingredients.
Can I store food in them?
That's the point of the lids. Mix the salad, cover it, into the fridge. The tempered glass lid with its platinum silicone ring seals well enough to skip the transfer to another container, and you see what's inside without opening it.
Are they dishwasher safe?
Bowls and glass lids, yes. Steel and tempered glass are among the few kitchen materials the dishwasher genuinely can't hurt.
What can I actually bake with this?
More than you'd think. The steel bowls handle every batter, dough proof and marinade. The silicone set folds, scrapes and spreads without scratching. And our borosilicate glass containers are oven-safe baking dishes: brownies, roasted vegetables, a lasagna for two — bake, serve and store leftovers in the same dish, no coated pan involved.
