Sticks

Everything sticks unless you use an awful lot of some kind of oil. Even non-stick spray didn't really help. I use on lower heat, but still sticks. Just have to let it soak before cleaning

Disposed the Ziruma non-toxic 316 stainless steel frying pan after 1 use.

The pan turned cooked food into chemical crust residue that can't be cleaned.

important care info! love my purchase!

a little difficult to upkeep the quality, but that's what happens when you get an all natural amazing quality pan. i usually just use this pan for pancakes. the first day i used it on medium-low, the oil burned onto the sides. i was freaking out, i had tried so hard to keep it like brand new. i waited until it cooled completely, then made a thick baking soda+water paste, used a silicone oil brush to brush it all over including on the top edges. let it sit overnight. in the morning it had dried. i added a little water, used the oil brush to scrub it, 95% of the burnt oil scrubbed right out without damaging it scratching at all!!! my pan looks like new! there's a tiny tiny bit left but i will repeat the process again today and my pan will be like new tomorrow! DO NOT wash pan immediately after use. if you do, use HOT water!!! i would recommend letting it sit out on the stove for a couple hours/until you get back from work or such and then washing it. soft sponges & towels ONLY!! no steel wool!!! i love love love this pan and it makes me feel so good inside knowing that the food i cook isn't being filled with leached metals and toxins! :) i'm 25 and this is my first nontoxic pan!!! i will buy more from this brand for christmas for my boyfriend! 🥰 very happy with purchase and so worth the money! :)

Happy 1st time stainless frying pan buyer

I have used the pan several times. I wanted a stainless pan with no coating to chip. I've fried over easy eggs with great results, no sticking using the seasoning instructions. I also did Salmon which came out delicious. There was a little oil on browned on the pan side, but the Bar Keeper's Friend for Stainless cleaned it up easily like new. So far I am very happy with this purchase.

I got the 9.5" — it's excellent

First off: THANK YOU for the "How to" card you gave me with the pan. I truly had no idea low to medium heat was all you needed. And that water test? I had heard of it. But nobody told me if it sizzled off immediately it's too hot! It makes sense now. You want it NONSTICK, not scorching hot. I also appreciate how it said to wipe it down before use (which I did, thoroughly), and how to clean it after use. This is a fully clad stainless steel pan, not a fully stainless steel pan. Meaning you get excellent heat distribution from the aluminum core. But if you try to cool it down from hot with cold water, expect warping. I like how you told me to avoid abrasives like stainless steel and instead opt for vinegar and baking soda. Vinegar has kept my stainless steel pan looking new, and a baking soda paste is just abrasive enough to scrape off any residues, and dry enough like sand to trap gunk in it like a sponge. Perfect hack! I love the DESIGN of this pan so much. Unless you flip it over, it's an unbranded premium stainless steel pan. Because why does a NAME need to be always visible!? I love that it's just a BEAUTIFUL stainless steel pan. And just because you use low - medium heat, doesn't mean it takes forever to heat up, nor does it mean it doesn't get very hot. I got mine to the point where it was nonstick within 2 and a half minutes on low medium. Other pans, like aluminum ones specifically, require constant high heat because aluminum rapidly loses heat to the air. That's why you can touch an aluminum foil pan straight out of the oven. It just does not hold heat at all. This is steel, and it does hold heat. I love the weight of this pan. It's so light but it feels hefty. The first thing I cooked in it was a Quesadilla in garlic and herb butter. 1. Heat the pan up per instructions 2. Add butter 3. Season the butter with spices and herbs 4. Fry a tortilla and set it aside (1-2 minutes) 5. Set the second tortilla on to fry, add cheese, and layer the first tortilla on. I just did this to test the nonstick properties, since I figured nothing sticks more than a tortilla. It was COMPLETELY nonstick. Indistinguishable from a Teflon pan, except in the fact that it's WAY better! I cleaned it by setting the pan off to the side, pouring baking soda on it when it was cooled thoroughly, and collecting all the gunk (butter, leftover spices, cheese bits). Don't hesitate. This pan is a winner.

High quality frying pan, great value

I've got a pretty decent frying pan / skillet collection with stuff from All-Clad, Made In and Swiss Diamond. This Ziruma pan fits right in. It's heavy, and both looks & feels like top notch quality and a really great value compared to some of the big name brand pans. The pan heated up nicely and cooked evenly with a cool handle. In my experience you need to take a bit of care when cooking with a stainless clad vs non-stick pan but you can get similar results with very little effort once you get the process down (pre-heat, add oil). I tested with eggs and was plenty slick with no stick. Easy cleanup. I highly recommend this frying pan!

Solid, even and very pleasant to cook with.

This pan gave me a very good first impression as soon as I took it out of the box. The stainless steel feels thick and high quality, with a balanced weight that conveys solidity and is comfortable to handle. The finish is clean and well done, and the 12 inch size is very practical for preparing complete meals in a single pan. When cooking, the heat distributes quite evenly and it is noticeable that it responds quickly, something I really value for recipes that require even browning. The surface behaves well when cooking eggs, potatoes and other ingredients, as long as the proper heat and a bit of fat are used, achieving an even and controlled cooking result. Another point I really like is that it is completely made of steel, since it allows me to take it into the oven without any issue and use it for other preparations beyond the stovetop. The handle feels firm and stable, does not loosen or move, and allows the pan to be handled safely. It also looks easy to clean and does not retain odors, which makes it practical for everyday use. Overall, it is a well built pan, with good materials and a sense of durability that inspires confidence. A solid option for those looking for good quality stainless steel and even cooking for daily use.

Heats evenly and feels built to last for everyday cooking

We ordered two sizes of this pan and both heat fast and cook evenly. They feel solid and keeps our cooking free from coatings. My wife and I have been shifting toward healthier cooking, and that means simple materials we can trust. These pans fits that goal. The stainless steel is thick and fully clad, so it heats evenly across the surface. I can slide food around the pan without hitting cold spots. It reacts quickly when I adjust the burner, which helps with eggs, vegetables, and anything that needs a little attention. The handle stays comfortable to hold. Each pan itself has a good weight without being tiring. They work on both our gas stove and the induction burner on the stove in the guest apartment. They also move straight into the oven without any worry since there is no coating to baby or protect. I like that these comes from a small business. The finish feels hand checked. The pans arrived clean with no strange smells. They have a straightforward look that matches what I want in a piece of cookware. After several uses the surface still shines and cleans up with a simple soak and scrub. There is no nonstick coating, so you need a little patience with the heat and a bit of oil, but that is part of cooking with steel. The reward is a pan that should last for decades. Value Rating: Exceptional. Well made, heats evenly, and supports healthy cooking with no coatings to worry about. Bottom Line: Because of its ease of use, these have become our everyday pan. They feel dependable and support the kind of kitchen habits we want to keep. ~Thomas Tried and True

You won’t regret making the switch

I can’t recommend these pans enough, my husband and I bought these after getting tired of buying new sets every couple years and started to be more conscious of cooking on chipped or scratched pots and pans so we switched to stainless steal and these are amazing quality, the heat distribution is way better and a little bit of bar keepers friend makes them look brand new every time will be buying more !

I finally found my favorite frying pan!

I am truly impressed with Ziruma products and will buy more! I purchased this 9.5" frying pan to judge its performance. Let me tell you, this is a keeper! The handle is smooth and comfortable to hold. The stainless steel is super high quality and it shows. There is no coating, thankfully! I hate those pans that flake and burn. With Ziruma, cleaning up is easy. This product gets my highest mark for ease of use and even cooking!

Leaning curve, but then a really good skillet!

There is a bit of a learning curve for this one, especially if you've only used Teflon non-stick cookware. However, it gets easier as long as you follow the very good instructions that come with it. I wasn't sure about this one at first, but I have really come to love it. I highly recommend it.

Not Even Close to Non-Stick

This is NOT a pan that is non-stick and it only was easy to clean for a very short time after purchasing it. Even on the lowest temperature the food sticks to the pan and even if I use plastic scrappers that were made not to scratch the pan, getting the food off is still a nightmare. I bought this pan because it doesn't have toxic materials but I am not sure it's worth the trade-off.

Quality, value & performance.

Never heard of this brand but needed a skillet for my new induction range. The real test of a skillet is eggs and this one did an excellent job. Even heat, easy cleanup. Would not hesitate to recommend this skillet.
