Poor craftsmanship

Noticed after using- boards are not adequately sealed.

Looks nice, Split almost immediately

It looks really nice and is great value but it started splitting between the seams and glue separating within a few days. Hand washed it only, didn’t abuse it. Just started splitting Really disappointed because I really liked it and didn’t want a bamboo cutting board Returned and finding another option

Board quality is terrible

This board is garbage, the board is already splitting and they didn’t sand off all the wood filler. The board isnt even square. What a complete waste of money and time.

Great quality. Heavy! As described, but cuter!

Unfortunate damage, hoped for better quality

I wanted to like this cutting board, especially since they’re a company that is more health and environment conscious. I needed a wood board that didn’t use soybean or mineral oil to condition. I was unfortunately disappointed in the quality as soon as I opened the box. There were splices and holes in the board that would compromise food safety. The board was not wrapped securely in bubble wrap/dunnage to prevent blemishes through shipping so it’s hard to say if it was lack of quality control in production. I requested a replacement and returned the original board. It took 2 weeks for them to receive the return and I waited an additional 2 weeks for a replacement. It was still showing as replacement requested with no estimate timeframe. I gave up and got a refund. I’ll find another company that uses healthier wood conditioners.

Nice end grain cutting board

Nice end grain cutting board. Arrived with a small nick, box was not damaged, must have happened before boxing. I will keep it.

Disappointed , Starting to Split

The board felt solid at first and worked great for heavy-duty prep, but after a short time it started splitting on both sides. Disappointing, especially for the price.

Pretty but odorous

The cutting board is beautiful and very sturdy, but there is a really strange odor to the wood that I’m not sure I can get past. I love that. It’s chemical free and the value is great. I may just have a sensitive nose. I did purchase the wood wax to go with it.

Really nice....

This is a really nice cutting board. It’s solid and sturdy, and you can tell right away it’s well made. The end grain acacia wood has a beautiful design that makes it just as nice to look at as it is to use. It feels like the kind of board that will last a long time if it’s cared for properly. I like that it already comes conditioned with beeswax, flaxseed oil, and lemon oil, it has a smooth finish and doesn’t feel dry. The thickness gives it a good weight, so it doesn’t slide around while chopping, and it doubles as a serving board because it looks so nice. Overall, this is both practical and decorative. It works great in the kitchen for everyday use, but it’s also something you’d feel good about leaving out on the counter. Definitely a high-quality board.

Overpriced

Received a light weight unattractive board with sharp edges. Over priced. Returned

Beautiful and perfectly sized for daily use and keeping on the counter

Absolutely love this cutting board! It’s solid and heavy-duty, but still easy to move around. The end grain design looks beautiful, is gentle on my knives, and really does hide cut marks well. The juice groove is super handy when cutting meats or juicy fruit, and I like that it came pre-seasoned and ready to use right away. As long as you continue to oil or wax it, it stays looking like brand new. Definitely worth it and is actually gift-worthy in my opinion.

Nice size heavy cutting board

I really really like this style of cutting board. This style holds up very well over time. Because the wood is untreated it does seem a bit dry, so I am planning to use some lemon oil on the wood to help with that. My other issue is that it sits totally flat on the counter, why is this in an issue? Well, it tends to slide around on my granite counter. My solution was to put little rubber feet on the bottom so that it doesn't slide. Might be something for them to consider as well. I have gifted a very similar cutting board to my brother and he still uses it today. The price is good for the size and thickness of the cutting board overall.

Gift-worthy and Beautiful

This butcher block cutting board is a beautiful addition to any kitchen. It is thick and attractive enough to keep on display while also being incredibly practical. Pre-conditioned and ready to use, it features good-sized carrying handles on both sides, making it easy to transport to a table or counter for carving without spills. The block is designed for easy cleaning; although not recommended, I personally placed mine on the top rack of the dishwasher without any issues. This large and sturdy cutting board would make a wonderful gift, even as a family heirloom for years to come. ***Please note this does not come with a knife; the one shown in the picture is my own.

Great looking cutting board, unfortunately arrived cracked

I hadn't quite realized how thick 1.5" is, this cutting board is hefty! It's a good size though, and the thickness means there is room for grip slots recessed in the side. It seems like it's a bit luck-of-the draw exactly how it will look since it's composed of separate pieces of acacia wood, but ours came in a quite nice pattern, see pictures. The company focuses on having this board entirely toxin-free which is nice, but tbh that hasn't been much of a concern for me when getting cutting boards. The main downside is that mine arrived cracked. Not broken due to impact, but cracked due to either heat or moisture resulting in warping and cracking, see picture. It's too bad, because we like this board otherwise. Another minor thing is that ours is not perfectly flat, see side-view picture with the left side a little off the counter. Overall this seems like a solid product, we just received one with issues. Pictures show it as-received (lighter colored), after applying mineral oil (with apologies to the vendor, because they consider mineral oil a toxin), a side-view, and close-ups of the crack.

Heavy wood, finish a bit flat

Not as pretty as the advertising picture. It is heavy. It has a groove around the edge to catch juices. Where the wood is lighter in color it feels a bit rough which makes me wonder if it may be a bit porous in those spots. I probably could have found better value for the money.
